Oppositional Defiance Disorder
Part of our Child and Adolescent Psychometric Assessment Services
Oppositional Defiance Disorder (ODD) Assessment is a comprehensive behavioural assessment that is conducted to determine if an individual meets the diagnostic criteria for ODD. ODD is a behavioural disorder characterized by a pattern of angry/irritable mood, argumentative/defiant behaviour, and vindictiveness and significantly impairing social, academic, or occupational functioning.
Assessment includes clinical interview, behaviour rating scales, observations and will often include standardised cognitive testing. Overall, an assessment for ODD aims to provide a thorough understanding of the individual's behaviour and functioning to guide appropriate interventions and support their overall well-being and social functioning.
