Camden Child & Family Therapies Sydney

This logo has a sentimental value to founder Rebecca Summers and is a resemblance towards the Aldelvice (Edelweiss) flower.

Adelvice was a childhood song about this flower (as heard in The Sound of Music)  that was often sung to her by her European father.

The care and value given to her by her father throughout her childhood enabled her to develop empathy and awareness to see the need in others. This was an important foundation that prompted the desire to assist others. This flower is a representation of her father's influence and care and is a tribute to him.

The flower also is a symbol of resilience and strength being the first European mountain flower to blossom in the spring-time following winter.

This is a symbol of hope for families who may be going through a 'winter' season in their lives to know that hard times do pass and resilience can develop.
